Should this video be added?

Without seeing the video your asking about I have no way of knowing if it should be added.

Doubtful though because the page is exclusively for L Ron Hubbard videos of himself and we've got most all of the ones he ever appeared in and not videos of others talking about LRH.

I have no idea why you can't post a link unless the link is blacklisted as coming from a spam site. (we're subscribed to a service that catches those and will ost a warning that the link is spam)

OK. As you can see I posted as much of the YouTube link as would be necessary to identify the video. If you will copy that part and paste it in the url field over another YouTube video link you will see the video. Is that clear enough explanation?

test to see if youtube vids can be posted - they can - so...?

The vid you posted about is a news media (slanted/biased) expose and this site is not the place for those.

There are plenty of so-called "whistle-blower" sites about the church, Miscavige and LRH. We leave that to them.

Right, I hadn't watched it.

I now made an attempt to post the url and again it failed. So it seems you are allowed to do it and not me. Could it be a matter of user rights settings?

ETA: I have now watched the video, and I quite agree it is of little value except at an example of what a hit piece can look like. Seeing as the Vimeo video had in its title that it was the only LRH interview, I jumped at the discovery of another actual interview and figured maybe it might have been missed.

What exactly happens when you paste, or try to paste, a link on a page?

Dl88008 (talk)22:48, March 3, 2020

It simply returns me to edit mode until I remove the url.

Halvor Raknes (talk)16:39, March 4, 2020

Weird - I don't have an answer for that right now.

As a suggestion for debugging, create a test account and try and post a comment containing a url as a regular user.
